Teknikkvinnor’s (Women in technology) purpose is to even the playing field through its vision that everyone, regardless of gender, should be able to work in the field of technology in an industry that is inclusive and gender-equal.

The company, which has two full-time employees offering consultancy services in the field of gender equality and inclusion, works with the Teknikkvinnor network. The network currently has two sister networks – Teknikkvinnor Chef and Teknikkvinnor Jobb.

Teknikkvinnor began as a Facebook group in 2017 with the aim of raising awareness among companies and employees so as to break down outdated power structures, empower people to make a stand against discrimination, and promote gender equality and inclusion.

Business and industry are incredibly keen to improve gender equality. As Teknikkvinnor’s network has grown in size, the needs of business and industry have been identified. Companies and organisations call on Teknikkvinnor Sverige AB for help with improving gender equality and inclusion and thus increasing their attractiveness as employers.
